Reposted from the Hayden Town News:
A new wave of artistic energy has arrived in the community with the opening of Unglazed, a vibrant studio space dedicated to ceramics, canvas painting, all forms of visual expression and much much more. Designed as an open, inclusive environment, Unglazed invites artists, hobbyists, and curious beginners to explore their creativity without boundaries.
Located in the heart of downtown Hayden, the studio features a fully equipped ceramics area a spacious painting zone stocked with canvases and paints, and flexible workstations. The open-concept layout encourages collaboration and conversation, allowing artists from different disciplines to share ideas and inspire one another.
“We wanted to create a place where people can experiment, learn, and connect through creativity.”
Unglazed also offers workshops, we will be offering an open space for more than just visual art, we also have the setting to accommodate many seminars, courses, meetings and celebrations.
Beyond its creative offerings, the space doubles as a space for showcasing local artists’ and entrepreneurs highlighting talent for the arts within our neighborhood.
With its welcoming atmosphere and commitment to artistic freedom, Unglazed is quickly becoming a cornerstone for the local art scene—a place where imagination takes shape, color, and form.
Unglazed is open Wed-Sat from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. For class schedules and membership details, please follow us on Facebook or feel free to call 719-248-5517.
I saw this post on the local city page, and I reached out to Tess, the lovely owner of Unglazed.
Sundays and Mondays are going to be our big sewing days! I am extending her studio days in exchange for a place to teach fiber arts classes. I will also be offering kids & teen classes on Fridays, when Hayden students are out of school. Keep an eye out for a February class schedule in the next day or two!
Locals—let me know what kind of classes you would like to see offered! I am hoping to offer rotating classes in knit, crochet, and spinning as well as both hand and machine sewing.
